Imagine a magical place, where you would like to spend your whole life? Well, welcome to Chapada dos Veadeiros, a real enchanted place near the capital of Brasil. From Brasilia, it takes a bit longer than 2 hours to get there, and you will have a couple of options on where to stay, one city called Alto do Paraíso and the second São Jorge. We opted to stay in São Jorge as it’s a bit smaller and it felt more rustic, just the way my and my partner like. The place has inexplicable energy, loads of waterfalls, incredible weather (be careful with the rain season though), a good party and nice people.
I believe we create our own luck, and in this case, I was lucky enough to connect with the best pousada owner in Chapada, Baguá. We spoke via email and I arranged to photograph while staying at the hotel. I already knew that this would be a trip to remember, but after a few days in I realized that it will be very difficult to have something as good that. To begin with they have the most gorgeous breakfast, perfect for all day long hiking, all the Brazilian delicious breakfast specials alongside fruits and healthy juices. There is a dreamy, Instagram swimming pool, sauna, and Jacuzzi. They have different types of cottages and some of them have individual Jacuzzi itself. I mean….romantic and perfect location with a sky so full of stars that it gets emotional.
